3 days Lamu island excursion/short safari

To sail the Lamu archipelago is to discover beautiful beaches, glorious seascapes, scuba refuges, fishing and ancient ruins. Lamu is a place like no other, a peaceful tropical island where life is lived at its own relaxed rhythm. It is also a place whose history is as mysterious and fascinating as the winding streets of its medieval town.

Day 1: Mombasa- Lamu (Lamu Palace Hotel)

You will leave early in the morning to fly up the length of the coast to land at Manda Island for Dhow transfer across to Lamu. This forgotten Swahili town (no cars on the Island) has a fascinating museum and you will have time to explore the beaches and seafront lunch, dinner and overnight at Lamu Palace Hotel.

Day 2: Lamu Island

Spend a whole Day in this culture rich Island. Lunch and Dinner at the Lamu Palace Hotel.

Day 3: Lamu-Mombasa/Diani

After breakfast, fly back to Mombasa, arriving before lunch.
